Overview
Wicked has now been putting a spell on audiences around the
world for over 15 years. It tells the story of Elphaba and Glinda, foes turned
friends who eventually go on to be known as two of the most famous witches in
the land of Oz.
Wicked first premiered on Broadway in 2003, earning warm
reception at the box office and from critics alike. The show was praised for
its set and costume design, along with its impressive score. Its popularity
quickly made household names out of original stars Idina Menzel (Elphaba) and
Kristin Chenoweth (Glinda) and has been selling out performances at Broadway's
Gershwin Theatre and regional theaters across the country ever since.

and Laurence Olivier Awards, as well as a Grammy Award for the original
Broadway cast’s recording, which features beloved songs like
